layer8sec is written and audited by Himanshu Borikar. Editorial inquiries, correction requests, and security audit requests all reach the same desk: layer8security@gmail.com. We read every message and reply to legitimate technical inquiries, usually within a few working days.
What to send where
- Corrections and factual disputes. If an article gets something wrong, send the URL and what you believe is inaccurate. Substantiated corrections are made to the article directly.
- Audit and review requests. Independent, self-funded technical audits of software, AI agents, and IoT tracking hardware. We do not accept paid or promotional reviews, and coverage is never guaranteed in exchange for access.
- Vulnerability reports. Security issues affecting this site are handled under our responsible disclosure policy, which includes a safe harbour commitment and a 24-hour acknowledgement target.
- Privacy and data requests. Data deletion and privacy questions are covered by our privacy policy.
What we do not accept
We do not publish guest posts, sponsored articles, paid link placements, or press releases, and we do not sell or trade contact details submitted through this page. Unsolicited commercial pitches are not answered.
